If you ask anyone who is relatively high elo, people who make videos about league of Legends, commentators and even Rioters if ELO hell exists; they all say it doesn't exist.

I was talking to GG.Infinitus about how ELO hell doesn't exist but it does in a sense; but in an exact opposite way. The most classic reasoning behind believing ELO hell exists is "No matter how well I play, I could go 10-0 I will still lose because of my team mates" This reasoning is wrong but is the exact reason why 'elo hell' effects some people.

ELO hell isn't alive because of ELO being used as a 1v1 algorithm it exists because of players mindsets and lack of responsibility. The very complaint that ELO hell exists is probably what's keeping them low ELO in the first place. Understand

I figured i'd write about the changes to the Season 3 Jungle as I jungle for my team on Genesis Gaming even if I did start to hate it as it basically became a tank-support role instead of ganking and carrying all three lanes. In season 2 Jungling was all about starting with 3 pots and boots; grabbing buffs getting 1 gank in and then build as a tank.

I think everyone noticed how if you had a tank jungle; you'd probably win because they could buy oracles; clear wards all day and not die with it and simply pressure everyone by the fact there is no wards on the map which makes people panic; but no more!

Season 3 brings a lot of new changes encouraging a harder jungle but less typical AoE tanks and more hyper carries. The new items and starting items are a real help to this. Let

GW2 – New Update: This is Halloween…

Guild Wars 2 has just sent out it’s biggest patch since launch; the Halloween patch. While it isn’t all for Halloween content a large amount of the changes are very festive in honour of an old human, the mad king. Now Tyria is under the shadow of the mad king, but it’s Halloween!

Before I get on to my thoughts of how this update has been handled, how festive it feels and if it’s even fun at all, let’s talk changes.

For about a week Tyria will be under the shadow of the Mad King which is a 4 act story/dynamic event that you can take part in. Each act lasts about 3 days or so you won’t get left behind but what else have we got?

Black Lion chests have been changed so they actually contain something rare and useful, weapon and shoulder pad skins which are all Halloween themed, from the “Greatsaw” which is a greatsword shaped like a chain saw to the Deathly Bull Shoulder pads. Sevencore – Beta Impressions: So yesterday

Sevencore is the latest MMORPG gPotato have released to the general public. It’s a free2play RPG with the tag line “Forces under the reign of yesterday” Yesterday indeed.

Let’s start of by saying that this is a beta impressions review. So 5-10 hours of game play during gPotato’s closed beta. That means it’s 100% based on my opinion as a gamer of 7 years and the time I spent within that game. So let’s jump right in to it!

I decided to play this game with a party of friends so we’d have a full party to clear content with. I lead Genesis Gaming a competitive PvP/completionist guild; so we went at the game with a little bit of speculation and experience. We started the game with the character creation screen which unlike most games of its calibre is pretty customizable but probably for the wrong reasons. I decided to take it apon myself to make a freak of nature that looked like a giraffe, success!

Rooftrellen – The treant protector is finally here! If you’re like me, you’ve been waiting for this for a while and I’m pretty damn excited. Along with a great new hero comes an abundance of great game changes to make the game smoother and easier to understand. Bots have been changed, skills have been fixed and items and characters that run out now have an exp bar that slowly decreases to show how long they’re left on the map!

I think it’s definitely interesting Valve has added Rooftrellen to the champion pool this early as in Dota 1 he is a pretty powerful champion that has been nerfed so many times so it will be interested to see how he fairs in Dota 2 and what stats and numbers they give to his skills to balance him, or if they’ll leave him to dominate.

He’s a strength hero who makes a pretty great support/ganker. He’s an old favourite of mine and I can’t wait to see how he plays, here are the full patch notes.
