In another masterstroke by EA Bioware, the F2P options for SWTOR coming this fall were revealed a couple of days ago to ogling fans all over the world. With restrictions such as weekly passes required to join instances (called Operations) and limited to 3 Warzones entry per week among many others, players looking to try out the game will be in for a pleasant journey.




The totally-free story content will include tons of the narration and cinematic which made SWTOR famous in the first place, with around 20GB of the client dedicated and millions of dollars spent. Will the F2P option lure in the 50 million monthly active users predicted by “experts”? Or will EA continue to scam gamers like what it did with the FIFA franchise?
