Some of you may or may not know this but my favorite class just happens to be the mage. Sure they aren't as important as a tank or a healer, but there is just something that draws me to well... magic! But I've never quite seen some of the spells used that you see in ArcheAge. In the video below you see the player all the sudden collapse in a weird fit and the enemies seem to back away. I think this may be similar to something they have in Mabinogi which is an action called, Play Dead. In ArcheAge it looks like an actual skill, a cool skill too. Random pretty picture from ArcheAge time go!
Anyways, the mage in ArcheAge is THE dps school. If you're curios as to what I mean watch this video below.
Here's the skills used in the above video:

-[burnt target]: adds a strong burning effect (description doesn't say what this effect does, but i'm guessing DoT?).
-[Conjury: lvl 2 skill DoT]: Absorbs 50% of the damage dealt into MP.
Lvl2 ; CT 2.5s; CD 12s; range 0~28m

Now here's the video with some different skills going on like the one where the player looks like she/he is playing dead, and also uses some skill where a hand grabs the mob and crushes it (cool skill by the way!). The video is titled illusion plus death so that maybe why the player seems to play dead.
What do you guys think of the mage? I am so playing it when ArcheAge gets over to where I live. Also before you even dare complain about graphics put the video in HD! Obviously it will like crap in 480p and below because that's not what the game actually looks like, you silly gooses!
