I'm just hoping people haven't yet forgotten about this epic mmo. I'm still hoping and praying it comes to the NA sooner than later. It's not even in Open Beta in Korea though so that hope probably won't come alive for a very, very long time. It's such a shame because I most likely won't be playing many mmos when I'm in college.

Until CB4 underwater exploration in ArcheAge was pretty pointless. They added treasure hunting though, making it more wprth while to do. So get your scuba diving gear and your balloons ready so you can get that treasure and float it back up to your ship!

Pretty fun looking, right? I wouldn't care if they hadn't added this feature because I would have still gone exploring underwater either way.

Seiges only take place on the weekends and last for two hours. Each side can have 50 players, one side the attacking party, and the other the defending. Currently there is no benefit for owning territories, but XLGames did mention that later on there will be an area of effect around conquered territories and houes built in this area of effect will be forced to pay taxes to the owner of the territory.

The owner of the territory can be evil too if he/she wants to be and demolish anything and claim crops without any penalty. This is where sieges would come in really handy because if the people were to get upset because the current owner/owners of the terirory were being too cruel they would get the chance to have a siege and take the territory and run it in a more fair manner.

Warriors are the proud tankers of ArcheAge. As such they are pretty good in PvP, something that I will cover in this article.

I couldn't find a video demonstrating all the skills in usde but below is a list of all the combat skills anyways.

Lvl 1; CT instant; CD 3s; range 0~3m
Deals physical damage to the target. This skill has a 28% crit chance, and generate 3 times more aggro.

Combos:
-[Knocked down target]: Damage increased by 100%



Lvl 2; CT instant; CD 18s; range 0~15m
Player rapidly approaches target and deal some physical damage while also interrupting any of the target's action. Cannot be used when under "root" effect.

Combos:
-[Target under "bubble" effect]: does one additional attack (?)



Lvl 6; CT instant; CD 6s; range 0~3m
Deals physical damage and adds the "defenseless

Some of you may or may not know this but my favorite class just happens to be the mage. Sure they aren't as important as a tank or a healer, but there is just something that draws me to well... magic! But I've never quite seen some of the spells used that you see in ArcheAge. In the video below you see the player all the sudden collapse in a weird fit and the enemies seem to back away. I think this may be similar to something they have in Mabinogi which is an action called, Play Dead. In ArcheAge it looks like an actual skill, a cool skill too. I found this video and I found it really cool. These Koreans really know how to kill a raid boss in a unique way. Some might say this is kind of cheating but I call it innovation! Anyways here's the video below.

I mean how freaking awesome is that?! I've never seen that in any other MMO I don't know about the rest of you. ArcheAge really is a turning into a unique MMO. What do you guys think of this video? Do you also think it's pretty cool?

Some people were asking about what other kinds of bosses there were in ArcheAge so I thought world bosses were a great example of the challenges players will find throughout ArcheAge. Anyways here's a few videos of different world bosses and players fighting against them.

The next world boss video is one of my favorite ones. The world boss is just so awesome looking!

The next boss looks like it can change what it's immune to. See how it changes it's colors? I think it switches so at one point melee will do no damage on it, then another point range will do no damage, and then magic will do no damage (this is just speculation though).

Gotta a hankering to die? Well then look no further folks then the Kraken! He's huge! He's mean! And his belly never gets full!

Look at that thing! Who the hell would be crazy enough to want to mess with that?! Of course in ArcheAge Kraken Kabob is a tasty treat (if you take this seriously you will be trolled by others most likely).

Jeeze and he has many, many eyes apparently (the better to spot you quick and gobble you up). But in all seriousness here, the Kraken is no laughing matter. You must have a a lot of players and also be very coordinated to take this huge beast down. The Kraken will destroy you otherwise. Even with a lot of players it will probably be quite challenging. He sinks ships with just a sweep of one of his massive tentacles.

The world of ArcheAge is massive, and gorgeous. With that in mind I thought I would share some of the most unique and colerful areas of ArcheAge. Enjoy.
