We're coming ever so closer to the release of EverQuest's 18th expansion, Veil of Alaris. And as we come ever closer, SOE is rolling out the last of their spoilers. Today, we look at The Resplendent Temple, the pen-ultimate zone to be revealed before the launch of Veil of Alaris (which, as I'll remind you again, is on my birthday -- November 15th for those not keeping up). This zone is the towering and gorgeous structure, visible from Sarith: City of Tides, is known as The Resplendent Temple. And it is a doozy.

Pristine and hallowed, The Resplendent Temple, is home to a race of people that believe in beauty and purity...but what fun would this new zone be if everything was exactly as it appeared? SOE, what do you have to say about this?

The Resplendent Temple is the very picture of beauty and perfection, with its gleaming white bastions and immaculate arched gates. Dedicated to the god of splendor, this temple is the very pinnacle of all beauty in Alaris. All is not perfect in the temple however; deep in the heart of the temple there exists a rotten core where all that does not meet the god's standards resides. Will you seek the secret of splendor, or merely accept its façade of perfection?
