Game starts everywhere in our life

When you walk into the rest room, what can you do? lol! It's definitely a silly question! I mean besides solving the natural call problem, you still have more----Playing games!  Don't call me geek, lol! Cuz that's all SEGA designer's idea! They just developed a Toilet Game Console!

Yes, it is a Toilet Game Console! They call it Toirettsu and for now such game console is onlu for men! Much like putting a target on the plastic strainers at the bottom of a urinal, the object of these games is to keep restrooms cleaner by forcing users to focus on a game that requires a stream to be guided into sensors at the bottom of the bowl. Achieving these goals wracks up points which, in turn, makes you feel like a badass for simply peeing.

There are four kinds of mini-g

What can we learn from MMOs? Virtues (Part I)

People in the society are always criticizing about MMO addiction, You parents are always trying to ban the games in your house, but nothing changed! Everyday we got gamers quit and new ones come! Actually we know every coin has two sides, but ppl just can't calm down and think about whether banning games is the best way or not!  Human beings need fire, because it brings us light and energy, while at the same time it killed many ppl. Playing mmos is more or less the same thing! It did get you addicted so that you may waste much time and money, but palying mmos also provides something for us to learn!

So what could we learn from MMOs? Virtues!

1. Pure happiness

Gamers in the game all have the same basic goal -Fun! The fun is so pure that it happens when we help some illed NPC, when we defeated the evil boss, when we get the first in-game pet, or even when we earn the first pot of gold! In the virtual world, we ppl forget the real no-so-pure life and search for the original

Finally I Know What Game is for Office Workers

I had a chat with my ex-classmates yesterday. Many of them are also gamers when they were in colleage. Now they are still gamers but their taste have changed a lot! My friends just gave me another lesson: Why F2P MMOs have their market? They are for Office workers! lol!

Please read the following reason before your start to refute.

What games will Office Workers play?

1. Easy leveling! I don't have too much time!

So there will be fatigue system in game, and you could buy fatigue items from the cash shop

So there will be daily quest system, you finish all those quests in 1-2 hours and you get high EXP

So there will be double-exp items, so that you have fast leveling speed

Also other nice setting in mmos are tying to help you save time in grinding and questing!

2. I like Farmville games!

Why? I could enjoy great fun within the shortest possible time! I could play the game anywhere if I could access to Internet! Also I communicate and share with my friends. lol

3. I li

Why I Prefer P2P than F2P Games?

We are always talking about P2P and F2P games! Honestly there is no winner! Both types have their fans and market! What really matters is gamer's flavor. So why I prfer P2P than F2P?

1. Top Priority---FUN!

Traditionally, Fun is a game designer and a gamer's top priority to this game! We all have a pure goal, right? If you make a really funny game, ppl will love it and you will have no worry about the sales.  But for  the F2P market, providing FUN is not the only objective. The designers may have two goals--make a FUN game that could earns a lot of money! Game designers should know not only games, but also business and market!

2. Games are Arts, or Not?

It has been a long time since game design was treated as an art form! Designers tended to make better graphics, various characters and armors, moving storylines, fluent fight experiencing. They are working hard to make the virtual world more, more REAL! But in the F2P market, all these elements ar

Turn Based MMORPG no longer Popular, Why?

Turn based mmorpg--Is this phase fading away in your gaming life? Zodiac Online, Wonderland Online, Wizzard 101, Digimon Battle, Atalantica Online, and what else can you list?  I guess no! Unfortunately turn based mmorpg is no longer popular in the main market! As a turn based mmo fans, I felt depressed but still can do nothing. Still I can't forget the first time when I touched GBA, I started with turn based rpg, the first time I touch mmo, I started with turn based mmos.

Why I think Turn Based MMO should come back to throne again?

1. We got more and more young players in the industry. Turn based mmo, unlike real-time ones, don't need you to focus all the time. Turn based mmos meet the demand of kids.

2. Casual players is the new but strong group in the market. They just wanna relax and have fun during the gameplay time. Turn based mmo allows you to chat, watch video, eat or drink freely. Why not have a try? (Or You could say Turn based mmo is the one for lazy guys!XD)

So we sho

Shin Sangoku Musou to Gundam Musou! Next One?

Shin Sangoku Musou---A cool action rpg series that I spent much time tryign to conquer them! With great storyline of Three Kingdoms and fluent fighting elements, Shin Sangoku Musou finally caught gamer's hearts and there is even a online version: Dynasty Warriors Online.

However, I just can't understand why Bandai wanna make another Musou game so weird--Gundam Musou! I'm not saying that game is bad, but saying that Musou is just not the type of Gundam series.

It's true that when you control your Gundam and plays the 1VS100( even more) fight, the feeling is cool! But Just easily mixing the classical series with Musou, it won't be a wise idea, at least for me it's not wise! I guess Bandai makes the Gundam Musou just for marketing, and next time what else

Gaming Has Become Part of our Life

It has been a long time since I heard MMO addiction in ppl's comments. Playing games, though still not accepted by many parents, has soundlessly become part of our life.

1. Our gaming industry is still glowing rapidly every year. 3DS, PS3 Move, Kinect and iPad! We've got more and more gaming devices.

2. All kinds of social network starts to provide app games. All ages of net citizens have joined the games;

3. Parents start to buy consoles, games as gift for their kids, schools open gaming-related lessons for students.

Just like watching TV, at  early times parents would always limit the TV time of their children. As time went on, the whole society has accepted the new media and watching TV became normal in a kid's daily life. Then Playing games replaced TV's position. The cycl

3D Gaming Trend, The Future?

Nintendo 3DS, Avatar 3D movie, 3D laptop and 3D Television! 2010 is just a year of 3D things! Then undoubtedly 3D gaming will enter the market.  Already so many  mmo companies talked about their 3D gaming plan for their titles, but still no exact example.

Ok! Then 2K Sports anounced that they are the first one!

"NBA 2K11 will ship a 3D-enabled version for PS3 beginning Nov. 16, and a free patch enabling 3D presentation for all versions will go live in January, 2K Sports said yesterday."--from Kotaku

3D gaming probably will be the trend in the next few years, since the technology could bring users better sensuous comforts. But the problem is that not all gamers could afford the device. The hardware requirements of 3D gaming will be the first block to its de
