As promised, iMMOsite theme beta now is available for use by all registered users. We call it beta because it will more than likely have bugs and inconsistencies, we need you to help us during the user experience and provide us with valuable feedback on usability and design. We also have a plan to bring more features to it in further days. So if you fall across something, let me know, thank you!

This blog post will give you a brief glance at how this humble thing works out. Warn me in case I miss anything.

To change your iMMOsite theme you will need to be logged in to your account. You can sign in here or make a quick registration if you don’t already have one. After entering your personal homepage, you can find the Theme button on the navigation bars

You might have noticed the humble icon we add to the menu on the site but not know what it uses for. It’s called Fconnect, a small application, which allows you to connect your MMOsite account with facebook. By this application, your activity feeds, including blogging, making comments, joining contests and polls on MMOsite will be displayed on your facebook wall as well. We think it is a convenient way to let your friends on facebook gets to know what you are doing around here.

To get started, simply click Fconnect. If you have signed in MMOsite, Fconnect will guide you to the accounts center where you can start the connection. http://accounts.mmosite.com/?controller=member_facebook

We have modified all the red templates, so you may meet some style errors using the following blog templates.

 

To avoid the problem, you have to enter the template setting, click "Clear all" to delete all the template caches first, then re-choose the template you like. If you still have problem with this bug thing, please let me know. MSN: mmositeeditor2@hotmail.com.

Hey guys, now you can insert images from your albums now, we have fixed this bug. Sorry it took a long time because we are kind ofshorthanded at the moment. How to insert images from your own album? Check the following steps:

while posting your article, click the button "My Album"

Then, click to insert the one you wanna to be attached with text content

Don't doubt what you've seen. Everything has just changed, right here and right now! We are so glad to launch a completely new "MY.MMOsite.Com" for all MMOsiters. Please call it "MMOsite Friends Center" as the temporary name if you wish :D

Below is a quick guide for you to explore the new site. First, I’ll introduce you the four major features in MMOsite Friends Center.

Photo Wall: On the new homepage, you'll see a board filled with players' avatars. You can grab the unused or other players' positions on the board to show yourself on the home page.

The first time when you enter the homepage, you'll be prompted with some messages relating to the photo wall. Just click Confirm to prevent them from showing up again.

How to play?
1) Each position on the photo wall is available for you to grab once a day, no matter it results in success or failure.
2) If you fail to grab a position, you can grab other positions.
3) You can't grab the position if you are already on the photo wall.

Example:
1) Keep your mouse pointer on an avatar for a while, and the "Grab this area" button will show up.

2) Click "Grab This Area"

3) Click "YES",

MMOsite New Blog System Open Beta Launched! 

Yes, the new blog system is finally available, though in open beta. We’ve made a bunch of useful improvements along with the open beta launch of the new blog system. As you can see, all the blog skins are modifiable for the purpose that you guys can work out a layout of your own. But for the moment, the function is not available coz we don't think it is the right time to make it happen. It still requires a little more preparation. The following is a preview of the new design of the Dragonball Z skin.

 

Well, it has been quite a while since the last time I updated something about our work, it takes a long time for us to re-design the pages, some more functions added as well. Before we release the final version, there are still several bugs need to be fixed and we will add more blog themes.

Hey guys, if you're reading this post it means our work on upgrading MMOsite Blog has almost been finished. Here comes 2 page previews of the new looking hope you like them. We've been working hard on the project and we hope within the coming beta test of the new MMOsite Blog in next month, we could find out more bugs and try every means to get it accomplished. As you may have noticed, our designers have finished four game templates for you guys. They are Cross Fire, S4League, Florensia and Wrath of the Lich King (can you feel the curse mixed with sorrow and rage through Arthas' eyes?) To change template, you just simply click "Template setting" where we have all blog skins stored, now choose your favorite.

Feel free to let me know any MMORPG of which you want a blog template, we will make it for you.
