Day 1 Vindictus CBT Playthrough (beware spoilers)

Vindictus Day 1 Playthrough!

After a frustrating time waitng for the game to release it's doors to players at around 2:30PM server time. Thankfully it's the same timezone as me and I had to go to the dentist anyways so when I got back it was jacked up and ready to go.Vindictus has a mouse or keyboard option. It also enables game controllers such as X-Box 360 and PS3. I haven't tried the controller options so I can't say much there. Keyboard options is nice with remappable keys.

Vindictus starts off as a prologue near the Weathered Bell Tower. The town's former guardian has run amok and seem out of control. The guards of the town try to iradicate the threat until Tieve, the town's oracle stops the captain dead in his tracks. She convinces them that the spider is suffering and that she can help the spider regain control. The Captain agrees and brings along a group of men. Inside the tower you are ambushed by a pack of Fomors and you the rookie Lann or Fiona must fight through the pack of gnolls to the upper floor. As you go higher one of the floors break and you must carry Tieve up to the last floor. When going to the final floor you'll see the leviathan before your very eyes.

Tieve communicates with the guardian and mentions something about a mysterious character setting up a trap of some sort. Suddenly a symbol on it's forehead starts to illuminate causing it to being enraged. You then proceed to fighting the spider. You don't have a health bar so you can't die and when you've hit it enough the ballista still start firing spears. These spears are fun to watch and makes the fight much more real, but you can also pick them up as weapons! As strong as they may be these  are no match for your sword(s) and can break after about 5 hits. When a certain point has been reached the spider starts ascending the tower trying protection from the mighty ballista ... or you. The guardian collapses to the ground follwed by a steel bell, crushing and annihilating it. A cutscene shows that Tieve tries to move the bell, but it won't budge. That's pretty much the prologue and the tutorial. Vindictus started off pretty nicely no major bugs as far as I can see. Except for the 18+ bug where you have to be 18+ to get on the boat. Originally for 15+ but screwed up and only some of the CBT players can play.

Overall the conversations are close to the original mabinogi but they are stationary in their buildings with no models. Vindictus also introduces a toekn system where you need toekns to travel and do missions. Very similar to fatigue because you can't do missions without them but there are premium once where you can have no limit and use less tokens. Probably a cash shop item kinda against it and pretty sure it's hard coded into the game already. The game also has gender locks which I dislike very much! Lann are locked to males while Fiona are locked to females.So far I can't say anything else since i've been locked out of most fo the game right now.

Vindictus is on maintence and I can't play until tomorrow afternoon where the bug will be fixed. Also took videos of Vindictus prologue/tutorial but the files were too big so I'll redo them again.
