New Free Champion Rotation (Season Two: Week 35)

It is a new week Summoners, and yes, that means another week of champions for you to try out, and maybe do well, or maybe just fail badly at. So you guys already know the drill on this, I name champions I like, talk about some of them, then ask you to do the same.  

So for this week the champions I like are; Annie, Fiddlesticks, Gangplank, Malphite, Nocturne, and Vayne. Why not Jayce or Lulu? I don't own either and haven't seen them enough/played them enough to have a good opinion on them yet. For this segment I will be talking about Annie and Malphite.

Annie is a fun mage to play, she is meant to be a bit tankier, at least if you want to survive thanks to items like RoAs and/or Rylais. She is also pretty good at doing a fairly substantial amount of damage by combining her skills to pull off a nice combo with her stun which can devastate enemies or give her time to get away from a bad situation. For laning I do like to have her with a partner, though alone she does fairly well as well;  if you time her Q skill to farm creeps by last hitting, you don't need to worry about loss of mana. That is a bit more difficult to do with a partner however, since depending on who they are, they may try to compete for those last hits.

Malphite is another fun champion. I didn't give him his proper respect before since I wasn't a big fan on him the first time I used him, but then I got stuck doing jungle runs and decided to just roll with him a few times after reading up on some guides, which changed my opinion on him by a lot. I tend to build him a bit AD heavy with some survivability HP items as well, you basic offtank hybrid. For laning he does well alone or with a partner, but I actually prefer him more in the jungle to jump people when he can. He excels at ganking since he can slow and pop up enemies which can give the people in the lane time to just destroy their hp.  

Those are the ones I like for the week, and a bit about the two I chose to talk about. So I ask again, what are your picks for this week and why?
