Welcome summoners, to another week of free champions. This is that time of the week where you get to play champions you like and don't own, or just ones you wanted to try out for the first time. This also coincidentally is the time when if you play in games with random players, when they try out a champion for the first time, butcher it completely and either feed, rage quit, or both. And remember, if they fail, it is somehow your fault, always.

If you read any of these I post, then you know the general order of things. I post on ones I like, a bit of why, and how I generally play them. I then ask you to do the same. Do you have to? No. Do you have to read below this? No. If you just want to see who is free, that is fine as well.

Now on to the champions I like; Ashe, Kayle, Sivir, Veigar, Warwick, Akali, Swain, Maokai, Jarvan, and Sejuani....Yep, this is actually one of those weeks where I like all of the champions put out for the week. Which ones will I talk a bit more about? Ashe and Kayle.

Ashe I actually have been playing a bit more of lately. Why? Well, to be completely honest, a skin of hers that I wanted went on sale, and I had the spare RP in my account. So yea, I use her more because of a skin I got for her. (Woad Ashe Skin) Now as for why I like her, well, she is fairly good at dealing long range damage with a mix of slows and that ever helpful stun Ult for when people actually land it and don't miss by a mile. The slows make her great for countering a close range AD champion, including ones like Darius that seem to still give people headaches. With that it is just a manner of kiting them around and not letting them get too close to you. That entails having a fair bit of run-speed under your belt which is why I do get boots of switfness and at least one phantom dancer on her normally. Though typically I get those after I rush for my B.F sword early on. The B.F sword helps out a lot early on to offset her rather low AD. From the B.F sword I naturally build that up to an infinity edge. After those items, it depends on what their team has. If it is a rather tanky line-up I do tend to go for Madrid's Bloodrazor for the ability to rip tanks apart, even if they're built. If not, I tend to stack up her ad with items like cleaver and bloodthirster. One thing I always suggest for her though is a laning partner that can compliment her skills and really keep the enemy off her. Preferable someone with a stun or hold skill, like Moakai.

Kayle I think is under appreciated, I say that because I don't see many people playing her, and I see people get a lot of crap when they pick her, which I don't understand since she is a rather solid champion with the ability to be rather annoying. Her Ult/Heal does give her a bit of a support edge to her, but she still works fairly well at taking out opponents on her own. There are plenty of builds for her from AD to On-hit, which are good in their own rights. I however tend to do a bit more of a hybrid build with her, going for items like guins and gunblade. It does tend to work, and the added AP helps a little with her heals whether she is solo or with a laning partner. But how to lane is a good question, she does fairly good solo laning in 5v5s, but in 3v3s, I do prefer her with a laning partner, and leaving the solo top to someone who can control jungle a bit better early on.

So those are the two I chose to talk about, and as I said, I do actually like the whole lot of them this week. As always, I ask you guys, who are your picks for the week and why? Also, how do you build them?
