End of Nations Beta Sign-ups are live

The new military sim from Trion, the same people who made Rift, has opened it's beta sign-ups to the public. You can sign up using the link above and you can wait and see if you will be in the beta which starts in around 14 days. Some nice news for those interested, is that the beta is not limited to those living in the NA region, but is open to pretty much anyone who wants to try, and is lucky enough to get into the beta.

From this, it looks like it could be a rather interesting online RTS type game, which to be quite frank, is something that could use a bit more filling than more grind-fest games. RTS isn't as appreciated in the online market as it should be, and before you jump the gun and find a reason to rage, I know there is SC/SC2, but we could always use more in the market, especially free ones.

Yes, that is right, the game is going to be free to play, in which they promise the game will -not- be pay to win. The only question that raises however, is how they will pull that off, which they answered in the FAQ. Luckily it looks like it is more for the convenience/cosmetic features that will be sold, than those that just make you dominate anyone who doesn't throw money at them. Which is good, and something more companies should be doing, especially those switching their games models from P2P to F2P.
