Calm down, no I am not trolling you. Vindictus Eu beta is actually drawing near, and people can get a beta key now if they want. Though the event for the beta key is limited, and you do need a facebook account to get one, or just a fake account if you don’t actually have one.

So yea, it is true, and being from the States, I didn’t even know that Eu was getting Vindictus, that is how in the dark I am to anything Europe beyond news networks like EuroNews and NHK. Suffice to say though, even though I already had access to the game, I say it is about time Europe got it as well. Nexon has a habit of shafting people by using the dreaded ip lock, and taking forever to port anything out of Korea/Japan and even longer for it to get from the states to Europe.

As for the game itself, which I will tell to those of you who never played it due to ip lock or w/e, the game is fairly fun, at least from my perspective. But believe me when I say, this is one you want to play at least with one other person you know. It isn’t really a solo game (what is), and sometimes you will get paired with trolls if you go the random route. You know, ones that will set off traps on you, try to make things more difficult, ect. Basically what I do to my friends whenever we play together. (I am a horrible friend) But gameplay wise it is a solid action based online game with good graphics and functionality. Pulling off combos on enemies is a lot of fun, and being that it’s purely instance based, makes it also feel a bit more casual since you don’t need to explore everywhere for whatever monster or item you’re searching for, which is a plus if you live a busy lifestyle.

Overall I do like the game, if you couldn’t tell. Do I play it now? No. Why? Two reasons, one I couldn’t get anyone to play it with me. Two, most of the people who would have played it with me live in Europe, so yea, that leaves me a bit on the solo path, which as I mentioned earlier, not my thing for games like this.
