I know not very "befitting" of a blog on mmosite, since well, it isn't an mmo. But it is a game I love going back to as much as I did with Oblivion and Morrowind. Which since it is something I am interested in, and this is my blog, you do the match.
Back onto the subject at hand, as most Skyrim players should know of the announcement of Dawnguard, the first DLC for Skyrim, which promises to be more on the lines of Shivering Isles than Horse Armor (for those of you who played Oblivion). Earlier they announced the DLC, but all that came with the announcement was a single picture with the Dragonborn and the Dawnguard name on it. This time we actually get a trailer to look at to see what it may bring.
From the trailer, it seems to add two faction, and even a possible new transformation beyond the Vampire and Werewolves that are already present in the game. Going by some of the video in the game it seems like the first faction that is introduced are followers of Molag Bal, which is just a guess, but since they show his shrine in their fortress, it may be a good one. This could also mean that they may have some relation to vampires, as Molag Bal was the one who created them, according to the games lore. If that is the case, then the other faction, which is called Dawnguard, seem to be the ones that hunt the first faction down.
Going by how the narration in the video goes, it can be assumed that players can pick to join either faction and play it out from there, which is a cool thing to do, since giving choices and not a static storyline is always better in my opinion. As for any other new features or anything like that, it is still unknown, since for now we just have the trailer to watch and guess what is to come from just that.
