New Free Champion Rotation (Season Two: Week 35)
It is a new week Summoners, and yes, that means another week of champions for you to try out, and maybe do well, or maybe just fail badly at. So you guys already know the drill on this, I name champions I like, talk about some of them, then ask you to do the same.
So for this week the champions I like are; Annie, Fiddlesticks, Gangplank, Malphite, Nocturne, and Vayne. Why not Jayce or Lulu? I don't own either and haven't seen them enough/played them enough to have a good opinion on them yet. For this segment I will be talking about Annie and Malphite.
Annie is a fun mage to play, she is meant to be a bit tankier, at least if you want to survive thanks to items like RoAs and/or Rylais. She is also pretty good at doing a fairly substantial amount of damage by
New Free Champion Rotation (Season Two: Week 34)
I am a little late with the champion cap this week, and I apologize for that. I was busy working on a first impression that needed to be a bit rushed and turned in, so I was a bit late. But you know the drill new week for free champs, people suck with them, yadda yadda. Let's move on, shall we?
This week the champions I like are.....actually, all of them. A bit rare, yes, but I do like all of the champions this week. Which ones will I talk about? Soraka and Galio.
Soraka is actually my favorite support, mostly because of how she can support herself and help take out groups of enemies with her allies very easily. In a team fight, she can be annoying as heck spamming her Q for all to die. It is because of that that I have had double and triple kills early on in the game, since she
New Free Champion Rotation (Season Two: Week 33)
Yep, it is that time again for new champions to hit the free rotation week and for people who never used these champions before to "try them out for the first time" and screwing over their teammates.
If you read any of these posts I make, then you know the drill. I say which of the champions I like, then I talk a little about 1-2 of them, including on how -I- like to build them. Then I ask you guys what you think of this weeks line-up and how you build them yourselves. So out of this weeks line-up I like; Cho'Gath, Master Yi, Morgana, Sion, Kog'Maw, Miss Fortune, Renekton, and Ziggs. Now why not Heim and Amumu? Well Heim not so much since he tends to fall like a rock late game, even though his early game is fairly strong. As for Amumu, I like him, but I don't really like p
More griefers in Ranked than Normal?
Now, I started to do ranked games more and more lately, doing the solo queue when my friends aren't online to actually do ARAM (which is weird) and just team ranked. I know I haven't done many rants about randoms lately, but the sheer number I have been getting when doing ranked games is astounding - so suffice to say I am in elo hell now.
I know I didn't do the best in some of the matches, but I have done quite a bit in several that I have lost, and I do blame that on the curse of random players. Let me give you a few examples on that:
In one of my first solo queue ones I did the jungle Olaf route, which turned out fairly well, I ganked as much as I could, and my team was actually holding their own. Then out of nowhere we get a random leaver, who just set things out of mo
New Free Champion Rotation (Season Two: Week 32)
Welcome summoners, to another week of free champions. This is that time of the week where you get to play champions you like and don't own, or just ones you wanted to try out for the first time. This also coincidentally is the time when if you play in games with random players, when they try out a champion for the first time, butcher it completely and either feed, rage quit, or both. And remember, if they fail, it is somehow your fault, always.
If you read any of these I post, then you know the general order of things. I post on ones I like, a bit of why, and how I generally play them. I then ask you to do the same. Do you have to? No. Do you have to read below this? No. If you just want to see who is free, that is fine as well.
Now on to the champions I like; Ashe, Kayle
New Free Champion Rotation (Season Two: Week 31)
Yep, it is that time again Summoners. Well, that day was yesterday for the announcement, but due to some happenings on my end, I didn't get the chance to post it when I wanted to. But it is still here, and still valid, despite being a day late. You'll live.
So as usual I will say which champions I like, give a reason to why I like some of them, and then ask you guys what you like from this week and why. Why? Well, I post because it interests me, and I ask because I am a curious sort. So my picks for the week are; Alistar, Nunu, Poppy, Shen, and Fizz. I know, it is a few, but I don't really use the others enough to have a genuine opinion, and I haven't tried out Draven, yet. But out of these I will talk about Nunu, Poppy, and Shen.
Nunu is a fun caster, especially because of th
New Free Champion Rotation (Season Two: Week 30)
So I am a day late on this one, that is partially due to all the problems the site was experiencing yesterday, which prevented me from really even accessing my blog, but, moving on. Summoners it is a new week to see people fail which champs they get to try for the first time, or give you a chance to play champs you want, but haven't gotten around to buying yet. So I ask the same question I ask many a time, "What are your picks this week?"
After asking that, and waiting for a response, I list the champions I like for the week and give a bit of a reasoning why. This week champs I like are; Annie, Fiddlesticks, Teemo, Leona, Graves, and Fiora. Ones I will talk about are; Teemo, Leona, and Fiora.
Teemo the cute but deadly Yordle is a lot of fun to play. Nothing like getting out of t
Pulsefire Ezreal (Finally) is Coming
Well, I am pretty sure everyone by now knew about this skin for quite a bit of time. It has been in the files for awhile, and there have been videos of people showing it off and using it in different clips. The main question was when it was going to come out. As we saw it we also saw champion after champion be released and the news of this skin seemed to fade into obscurity. But now they finally announced the legendary Pulsefire Ezreal, and we will actually see it soon.
The work on the skin looks pretty cool, like a league of legends rendition of Megaman, and when I first saw it I did want to pick it up. "Did" being the key word there, the reason I say that is, they announced the price of what the new legendary skin will cost. Some of you may think it would be the normal skin pri
New Free Champion Rotation (Season Two: Week 29)
It is that time again summoners, that time some of you could care less about, especially if you own most all if not all of the current champions out. But for those of us who don't own all of them, this is a time for us to try and fail or even sometimes do well with champions we do not yet own, but have made it on this weeks free list.
So who are your picks for this week? As you know I also like to list my picks for the week and give a bit of a reason why for some of them. For this week I like; Jax, Rammus, Corki, Ryze, Singed, Taric, Garen and Miss Fortune. Yea, I am not a big fan of Skarner and Xerath. Well, Skarner is okay and great to pair with, but I like other mages a lot more than Xerath, especially ones like Ryze. But I digress, the ones this week that I will talk about are Rammu
Woes of Randoms - I won't be pushed around by pre-mades
I have a new "Woes of Randoms" for you all today. As you know, I like to put up little tales of the worst of the randoms I get at any period, ones that truly stand out among the crowd and make me wonder what the hell is really wrong with them. Some of them we laugh off and troll back, others are just too far out there to even get what is happening.
This tale revolves around, as you guessed it, a random we got today that played as Ezreal. This one we actually knew before we even got in game that he would most likely be trouble....Well, I didn't as I was alt tabbed checking some things online. But I heard Adam (who I usually play with) say that this is most likely going to go bad. Apparently, he asked Ez to go to the top lane, since we're in voice and we like to lane tog
