Perfect World - Attack of the Pack

The feedback I got from that told me I was too focused on selling the game and failed to accurately describe issues that Perfect World has. Well here it is.
Attack of the Pack:
After Perfect World International's first year of being in business, they decided to release Anniversary Packs. It quickly became known that these were a huge problem. ZEN prices sky rocketed at their release, and they served to be a huge cash sink for the people who did not need a cash sink. With the packs the game became increasingly "Pay2Win." The chance of getting something decent out of them was rediculously low (as seen HERE), therefore the average buyer was left with almost nothing, while the cashshop-w**** [vulgar term] was rewarded greatly. Now, the problem with these packs does not only exist with the fact that PWE released them, but with the fact that the "anniversary" became a monthly ordeal. As an after effect, the in-game economy was being destroyed. Much aversion arose in the community about their release and repeated release that, if I may say so myself, was ignored by the PWE team.
The problems continue with the release of more packs. The names of which I do not know because this is where I took a "break" from the game. However, I do know of their existence and that many held unrealistic chances of getting a mount or gear, all resulting in wasted money and more in-game riches in the pockets of the avid cashshop users (much more appropriate name than what I used previously don't you think? :P). Sunshine Packs and Perfect Lighter

What do you know. I come back to the game with the release of ANOTHER pack, and this time the packs come in PACKS! Information about the Sushine Envelopes can be found HERE. I am strongly against the implementation of these misleading packs.
To make a comment about the lighter... I believe it deserves a hearty "WTF?!" I fail to see how it is relevant to the game in anyway. However, this article is about what I believe to be a huge issue with Perfect World... their Packs.
As a response to my "Non-Intrusive Cashshop" claim made in my previous article, I still do believe the cashshop's items do not effect gameplay in a way that is great enough to render the game unplayable to non-cashshop users or users who lightly use the cashshop. The part that plays a huge role however is the fact that the people who use the cashshop heavily control the game economy.
Closing:
This is intended to state my opinion on the Perfect World pack problem. Discussion about these can be found all over the PW forums. I have noticed that oppostion to these packs has quieted down. The reason for this is subject to each individual, but overall it may be a sign of the community giving up. To those of you who have not played Perfect World, and who may have read my previous article, this is one of those "flaws" I stated that do exist.
