Starting December 12 2008 U.S. players of Metin2 will receive a Free Holiday Present containing a mystery item from the Metin2 Item Mall. Upon reaching level 35, players will automatically receive their holiday present in the Metin2 in-game Item Mall through mid-January 2009.

Metin2 Mystery Gift Boxes can also be purchased for yourself or as a gift for a friend. Mystery Gift Boxes are priced at U.S. $2.50 (250 MP), U.S. $3.50 (350 MP) and U.S. $9.5(950 MP) and can be found in the Item Mall. Each of the Mystery Gift Boxes will contain a random item from the Item Mall. Among these magical mystery boxes is a grand prize containing every item in the Metin2 Q Shop, a grand prize worth over $3000!

In celebration of the opening of the new server, players will be treated to a lottery ticket giveaway and promotion when they start playing in the new server.  Monsters killed in the new server will drop special lottery tickets that may be the winner of great prizes including a Sony T Series Cyber-shot® Digital Camera with 8.1 Megapixel Super HAD™ CCD & Large 3” Touch Screen LCD, a Microsoft Zune 8GB Portable Media Player or 5000 Metin2 Points with QP (a $50 value).

Starting Sep 17 and continuing for the two weeks following its launch, players throughout the 3 Kingdoms will be able to collect special lottery tickets when they play in the newly launched server.  The lottery tickets can be obtained by slaying various monsters and villains found throughout the server.  Not every monster will drop a lottery ticket when slain, so keep your spirits up while hunting and a lottery ticket is sure to be found!
