Another week and another hacking within the gaming Industry. From Sony, to Sega, to Square Enix, and even to lesser-reported cases such as Eidos, Trion has now been added to the string of game developers that have been brought under the cross-hairs of a group of hackers. However, unlike cases such as Sony and Sega, in which many players blame the developers themselves for being compromised and having such personal information stolen, Trion seems to have gained a much more subtle and semi-sympathetic response within the past day.
It is no secret that Trion has aimed to be one of the most active, out-going, and community-involved developers in history, this goal is clearly seen within the fact that an update to their biggest title, Rift, being released every 1-3 months.
