It started during Governor Zent's reign. He had made buddy-buddy with the nation of Bonta's Vice Governor Freya. I don't know what her grievances were but she decided she was fed up with her government and did something that's never been done before in wakfu. An act of treason so devastating that i have no idea how she didn't forsee a war in the future.
First, she declared war on my nation, Amakna during the middle of the night. One of the things she can do as a government member is move money from the treasury around to the nation's territories to buy challenges and change weather etc. She can't touch the money directly. As soon as she decla
Brakmar is a very dangerous nation, whether you're a citizen of it or visiting it. But it's not the monsters that you have to be careful of. It's the players! In the World of Twelve, Brakmar functions as the pvp capital. If someone aggresses you, don't expect help. Join a guild or die. Of course this is part of the charm! If you're a pvp nut, why would you pick any other nation to join? Where else can you see a player killed by their own nation's government and shrug it off like "Oh that's just Brakmar." ?
The nastiness isn't just in pvp though. It's a dark and dusty nation and the citizens share their land with a volcano. There are bones and tombstones everywhere and all houses have blood splatters on them. There's even blood leaking out of stone in a few places! The monster
At the top right of the room you'll see 4 objects. These are the controls for the havenbag. The first one locks your bag so players can't come in. The 2nd is permissions controls which allows you to filter who can come in. You've got the options to filter in everyone, friends, guildmembers, your ignore
For the last couple of days players in wakfu have been participating in wakfu Kwismas patch! Included in the christmas content is a national kwismas twee which has to be set up by the players, a special kwismas armor(The Father Kwismas set), kwismas food with various effects, kwismas achievements, kwismas emotes and more!! Just for logging in you'll recieve 3 colors of fireworks, a plantable kwismas tree seed, and the Father Kwismas hat to start your hunt for the full set.
In the beginning area of each nation is a big, half decorated kwismas twee and a giant bucket. By donating the items required items, the kwismas twee will eventually be completely decorated and citizens of your nation will be able to take a present from the tree. The number of required items is very large so your
I'm Cassidy, an Enutrof in Wakfu, and the founder of a guild called RareHunters. With the guild growing past 200 members and most of the original members gone at this point, it seems like a good idea to leave behind an article like this to help maintain the values of the guild long after im gone.
Recruiting for the guild
I started RareHunters on day1 of the Wakfu closed beta. When recruiting for an item related guild such as this, i can exactly run around asking random people. What i did is i joined parties for dungeon runs. Whenever i'd find someonne with an unnnhealty love of items, I'd send them an invite. There were so many guildmates of various classes that we were able to make dungeon parties exclusively for the loot!
Finding new items
RareHunters prides itself in many things. One o
Last night was a huge upset. Somehow Goonsquad's governor elect candidate won the election in my Nation. Some players immediately started to log off to wait out this government term while others created new characters to play in a different nation for a while. Guilds are stocking their resources in preparation of what's to come. Perhaps the blame for this horrible turn of events is the lack of records around. It's been a long time since the last time Goonsquad was in office and the new players werent around to see how Goonsquad affected the nation. I was one of the players around during those times so let's remember them shall we?
I remember it so clearly. It was the end of Arini's term. Everyone was so happy to have a good governor that the end of her term snuck up on everyone.
The newest update brought 2 things to Wakfu. The tropical nation of Sufokia, and the magi-shielder class Feca. I'm always up for trying a new class so started it up in the new nation.
This class is all about defense. It has a complicated playstyle that revolves around Glyphs. Think of the glyph as an empty socket. You'll get a different effect depending on how it's used. Placing it on yourself creates a neutral armor, while placing it on the field creates a neutral glyph. From there using one of your elemental spells transforms the glyph/armor. Since you have 15 elemental spells and a different effect occurs for each spell of each element, you essentially have 45 elemental skills!
Like the other classes, the element tree you chose to focus on will determine what kind of role you'll pla
I decided to make a new character to take a break from the rotton politics going on right now. I've seen Ecaflip players around but i've never really seen one in combat. There's gotta be some reason why I didnt realize there were level 60 ecalips on the server right? So i gave it a shot.
Ecaflip's skills are divided into 3 elements, water skills, air skills, and earth skills. Each skill tree focuses on the different aspects of being an Ecaflip. So if you focus on water skills you'll take advantage of fleas, while air skils involve agility, clawing and biting. But i didnt make an ecaflip for these reasons. I'm here to gamble and that's what the earth skill tree is all about. The moment you make your ecaflip you've already started a gamble. While each element of the character skill tr
This election was quite strange. Our only options were Templar Emeath, the most infamous pker on the server. Hooks, the radical nationalist, and Moxa, kind of an unknown. Moxa didn't really compaign so the only real choices for governor were evil and evil. It all came down to which kind of evil was more tolerable. Their intentions were pretty clear. Hooks was insane and just wanted to kill foriegners while Templar Emeath just didn't want Hooks to win. Emeath is much more competant but he's done so many things people just can't seem to trust him(murder, ecoterrorism, spawn camping, rebellion against the government etc). Making the right choice here is really important since the governor can make your gaming experience smooth or hell.
In the end, Templar Emeath came out as our new g
I went to the nation meeting and it went just as well as i thought it would. The only unexpected thing that happened, was 2 Admins decided to appear for the meeting, and started the election process for Amakna and Bonta. This means i've got no time to store all the wildlife in a safe place for the inevitable wars that are going to start.
Zent, the Governor of Brakmar and the person who called this meeting to discuss everything that happened over the weekend and what will happen next, started to explain what happened this weekend in his own words. However he was quickly overshadowed by various Hooks supporters shouting their grievances into the chat in all caps. Anytime anyone tried to explain anything, someone would interupt to exclaim how that didnt happen. As the treasurer of both Amakn
