Let me start off by sayin wow, I haven posted in awhile... Well, it's been a week of university so far and i have no time to do anything which means...no games for me.
It's soo tough being stuck with 3 sciences and a math and sociology and trying to get a GPA of 3.8 for medical school and i only have 1 hour a day to do something entertaining(usually thats when i watch 1 ep of house). Luckily i found a positive side to this with all the new games coming out in 2010 and I'll be done school by April so yeah I'll be able to try out the new games freely for 5 months, while all you non university people gotta worry about exams in the 2 months before summer (unless you're planning to fail in life, I suggest you go study).
So thats pretty much all i have to say in my hour of freedom since i just finished 5th season of house and waiting for the 6th. and for all of you that added me on msn, sorry i haven't been able to talk to you as often. different timezones and i'm really busy now >.<''
PS I kinda doubt anyone's gonna read this soo it feels like i'm talkin to myself lol...
As many of you know, it's easier said than done.
I'm current in my summer mode meaning: wake up, boot computer, gaming, eat, more game, sleep at like 3am.
For about a week now, I've been trying to review my notes for school and stop playing games or going on this site. But honestly, no games make me go then .
To fix sleeping habits I try waking up at normal time and not sleeping at all until around 9pm which works. If you can handle the insanity comes throughout the day.
As for studying over gaming. I found that studying during idle moments in the game actually worked, for example, waiting for a PQ in Maple.
Also, when i have to urge to game. I tend to go and and play on my guitar or piano and that usually helps.
So that how I try to fix my summer habits. How do you guys fix yours?...
My first time truly involved in a gaming community was is Maple Story. Thanks to the Party Quests I made some pretty good friends and actually played it for more than 2 months(I get bored after 2 months for any game). They were great training partners and fun to talk to while you're grinding. However, this was awhile ago and we all sorta quit before we got anyone's msn. I still miss em T.T
However, nowdays I see more angry gamers. For example, I recently went on maple again and I was in a GPQ. Before, when i joined PQs, if there was a first timer there'd be someone to explain it to him/her. It was my first time doing a GPQ. So I told them that it was my first. Instead of explaining everything to me they all just ranted on how I was a newb and kicked me.
It seems that today, people focus more on experience and being the best in games. But then again, whats the point in being the best if all you have is enemies and no one t...
