In Depth and Informal

      Let me start out by saying the majority of gamers are not teenages at least not in the major free to play games. That makes what I'm about to get into all the more easier of a subject. The immaturity that is displayed by some of the masses is enough to almost make you want to quit playing whichever game you have dedicated your time to. I'll give examples so you can understand where i am coming from. I play Runes of Magic as my main game and its a very enjoyable experience, most of the time. This is the one year anniversary of RoM and they are giving out prizes. Not saying that they should even be giving out stuff, just the fact that they are is incredible. Yet every time someone opens up one of the anniversary packages and doesn't get a permanant mount they want to whine and cry and complain for about 20 minutes in either zone chat or world chat.

              Thats not all though, RoM has also been giving out rubies which is a premium currency used to buy items that you can't even get with the diamonds, which are the currency you actually pay for. Now understand they are giving this stuff out for free, but people want to complain because they have no way to give it to other people for ingame money. Mostly this ignorance comes from noobz, you know who they are, in every game they are the same. The ones who get to level 10 or 20 and think they know everything, or want to comment irrationally at every thing that they think they can make a joke about. They make it impossible to interact with other people without getting a bitter taste in your mouth. But once agian i state, this is not the majority of gamers.

              This actually happens in every game though so i don't see what talking about it in an informal setting will do. The name calling will continue, and the rest of the community will keep finding ways to coup, but all the mature, rational people will die a little more each time they have to deal with one of these juvenile delinquents ranting on in an incorherant blend of street talk and threats that end in the whole community digging deep and serving them there own ass back to them. Its not the best way to deal with the problem, but i just hope it makes atleast one of these prepubesant childlings cry at least once a day. LOL!!!!!!
