Okay,

So, dawns the age of yet a new technology ready for home brewing!!
3D TV!

What do you think about it? Have you tried it, and if so, what was your experience?

Do you think it will be the future of our households?
Or just one of those "phases" that just becomes a quick fad which burns our wallets then disappears after a few months?

Now, in my personal opinion, I think it's amazing!
Sure why not go to the cinema for £7 rather than spend £2000 on a TV that's smaller!?

Well here's why.....cinema is a cheat, it just uses two projectors (Dependant on the film) to progress two images, which is old technology which often causes lags, colour disordinence or just plain awful images....take avatar for example....great film don't get me wrong....BUT when they made it into 3D....AWFUL!!
It was just plain wrong.

Now watch this then continue to read....

But now, I've watched it on BLURAY on Samsung's C8000 3D LED TV.....and well....let's just say I felt as if I was actually there!
Sure it's a smaller screen (55" in this case) but hey ho, you're closer to it (living room) and add your home theatre kit, and a nice armchair and you're set.
Plus the visuals an LED can produce over a mere projector? You just cannot compare!

Now onto 3D GAMING......IMMENSE!!
I played Motorstorm on PS3 on the same TV....(C8000 LED) and well, I felt as if I was hit by that broken exhaust when it flung at me after crashing down off that cliff!
The pure potential in really getting the player feeling part of the game is surreal, and when really put to the test, it delivers, I can assure you of that.

And finally, normal tv? But in 3D? Yeah why not!! :D
Samsung/Panasonic/Sony alike, have all made great 3D tvs dont get me wrong, but the one that really shines in my opinion is sony.
Why?
Well, you put a SONY 3D LED TV, PS3, bluray player and SKY 3D together, and you're pretty future proof for just about anything!

I watched monsters VS aliens, hilarious film, and adding the 3D into the animation, say goodbye spykids 3D of the past and hello  super 3D of the FUTURE!!
Even watching normal TV is ofcourse available on a 3D tv (meaning watch normal...and boring...2D TV) but then here's a cool trick:
Why not watch NORMAL TV that ISNT produced in 3D in 3D!?
(Make sense? Even if it didn't just listen)

You're watching regular football on your box, but feel abit.....drab, the game is great, but just the picture isn't quite doing it for you? Press the 3D button on your remote (How easy was that?) and BAM! Normal TV is now emitting a 3D IMAGE!
So you DONT need a fancy 3D bluray box, you don't need a subscription based TV package on cable or satellie, just a mean TV, some popcorn, maybe a ps3....and you're sorted.....for life!

Now I might have gone on abit here, but please do feel free to share your opinions too!!
Like it? Hate it?

Thinks its an aquired taste like marmite? Share your opinions!!

And thanks for reading.
