TERA's Brian Knox dismisses console plans
There's been no shortage of TERA news since the game turned a lot of heads at this year's E3, and the latest comes to us courtesy of Caelixian and the TERAcast podcast. Episode number ten features discussion of En Masse Entertainment's showing at last month's trade event, and concludes with an interview with TERA senior producer Brian Knox. Knox talks about everything from the challenges inherent in Westernization, to international communication, to the possibility of TERA appearing on consoles.
"[We have] a singular focus that allows us to be concentrated on one product, one release. A lot of people ask "it's such an action game, have you thought about the console"... for us we want to have that single focus, we want to make an action MMO on the PC and we don't want to stray too many different ways because that's when you get caught up and everything gets half done instead of one thing being done really well," Knox says.

Right, now that we have that out of the way let's get down to the good stuff, for those of you still with me. As you should know by this point in time you will have the opportunity to complete Daily Quests with the next update. These are quests that you will be able to take only once per day, and they reset on midnight server time. They come in several different categories, and you are able to take only one quest from each category per day.
The rewards for the Daily Quests are simple: Experience, AXP, adding to your Guild score, and dungeon entries. All of them (apart from the TG one) start in Bloody Ice, from the different NPC's standing around the town area. The TG Daily you can receive from the grocer in your nation's lobby, and gives some AXP as a reward.
First up are the Experience Daily Quests.
Dungeon EXP Daily Quests
Field EXP Daily Quests
As you can see these are divided into two sect

Amira: So I just have a few questions for you! First off, they’ve all been submitted by TERA Fans members.Brian: Oh awesome, those are my favorite!
Amira: Around how many quests will the game be launched with?
Brian: We’re saying there’s thousands of quests. We want to do what we can to make the game quest driven and story driven so that you’re not having to just kill monsters over and over; we want the quests to lead players along.
Amira: Right, great! How detailed will the guild system be? Will there be alliances or detailed options?
Brian: We’re working on the actual technical term, there’ll obviously be alliances among players but how that plays out technically within the game we’re still deciding on. Guilds will be able to rank different members, for example, there’ll be different permissions for officers versus regular mem

[TERA] GoHa.Ru Interviews Jason "BrotherMagneto" Mical
Here is GoHa.Ru Interviews Jason "BrotherMagneto" Mical(Russian Version).

English Version below
First of all I would like to sincerely thank you once again for agreeing to help me with an interview. Before you start reading the questions, I'd like to give you some comments as I don't want to frighten you J
Yes, the major part of the questions is to understand whether you place more focus on wow-audience (pve and instanced/soft pvp) or on Lineage 2-audience (open, free, hardcore pvp). The reason is though L2 is about 7 years old, it's still extremely popular within Russia and Russian-speaking players. Over a year ago NCSoft and Innova systems launched localized version and now we have 11 highly populated Russian servers (two of them were opened quite recently). Plus a lot of people still play on NA and EU NCSoft server. These are all subscribers of course, I'm not even talking about a huge amount of private servers. And
En Masse Interview with The First Fansite in Poland
Here are some questions we had, answered by EnMasse Entertrinment Please note that those questions were asked before FGT2 started, and before recent changes to the website.
Hello Jason!
First of all i want to greet you from polish TERA community, and thank you for devoting your precious time to answer our questions. We have so many of them, i don't know where to start! OK, there they go - I hope you can answer them with a little help from your colleagues.
Q: It is very kind of you that you have such good contact with the community, that you listen to suggestions and critiques, but that also raises some doubts. Some ideas seem brilliant on paper, but after they are introduced into the game they can disturb the game balance in an MMO. Aren't you afraid to introduce disparities in a game as a whole during westernization process?
A: We’re very lucky at En Masse to have a great team of industry veterans, including writers like Dave Noonan and Marti McKenna who have extensive game desi

Lore: How TERA Began
The world of TERA began millennia ago when two titans of unimaginable power, Arun and Shara, met in a formless void. For reasons we can only guess, they fell asleep. And as they slept, Tera took shape around them.
If you look at a map of the world toda
