Bliizzard's Blizzcast: Episode 1 is up!

What is the Blizzcast you ask? Well the Blizzcast is podcast by Blizzard “designed to take you, the fans, behind the scenes into the World of Blizzard.” This will be a welcomed change from the no information policy that seems to be on the WOW forums, then again…. This is just the first episode and they might slap this with the “no crossing” tape as well turning this into another waste.

In the first episode we have an interview with the prolific Blizzard artist Samwise. Sam talks about…. Well his art, he talks about some of the design choices made for Starcraft 2 and stuff. I don’t know it wasn’t really all that exciting. I guess art folks are going to appreciate this more than the common folk.

The second guest on this pod cast is Tigole, the person in charge of messing up WoW for us. Actually no, he is the dungeon/raid designer for WoW, he is the one that brings us those excellent rep grinds that are supposed to humble us showing that people worked for their armor set and so on. So for his interview he talks about the new Raid dungeon that will be added with 2.4, apparently, guess what? This new raid brings up new reputation associated with it that we are going to end up grinding like ( insert funny comment ). The new boys in town are the Shattered Sun Offensive. The SS……are the Aldor and Scryer finally making up and joining forces to destroy the Legion. The only question this brings up for me is, why is there still a Horde and an Alliance sides?

Upon character creation you should be a freelancer with that ability to start in any city and as you level up you become friendly to some factions and enemy to others. This way the game can follow the old Lore a bit better by having the UD and BE be their own crew and have slight connection with others. This will definitely up the PVP content in the game since you can how have more folks to battle with. Everyone can face off against everyone instead of the stale side we have now.
